Name: Erik Maes. Born in Apeldoorn, 1969. moved to Arnhem in 1994.
Studied at the AKI in Enschede. Multimedia but specialised in photography.
I was drummer in a number of experimental new-wave bands and worked with tape-cutups and plunderphonics. After a short break I started using the computer as a musical instrument and medium for experimental art. I also discovered the joys of digital video.
I play synthesizer in impro-collective Eb and collaborated with several video-productions (editing, compositing, audio post-production).
